Keep the
energy alive.

The production arrived with an established campaign direction: bold color, oversized typography, playful imagery and a lot of theatrical energy. My part was translating that direction into layouts and interactions that worked on the web.

The contribution

  • Custom JavaScript for continuous image and content carousels.
  • Bespoke layouts and front-end behavior within WordPress.
  • Responsive rules for scale, spacing, image crops and visible content.
  • Web graphics created or reconstructed from approved campaign direction and supplied assets.
  • Clear paths from the campaign experience to external ticketing.

The design-engineering judgment

The interaction needed to retain its editorial rhythm across screen sizes. Item scale, crop and spacing were considered together so mobile felt like a deliberate composition of its own.

A collaborative production. Campaign direction and some artwork were supplied. This is a front-end and design-engineering contribution, alongside client, marketing, advertising and production teams.
